A drug with diuretic (increasing urine production) properties, thiazide and related to indapamide. This drug is used to treat high blood pressure (increased pressure inside the arteries) or certain edemas related to heart failure (insufficient functioning of the heart pump). This drug is also used in cases of liver failure or nephrotic syndrome.
