A marisque is a nodule located around the anus and having the color of the skin.
Generalities
La marisque is wrapped in a membrane cutaneous or mucous membrane (layer of superficial cells covering the inside of hollow organs in contact with the air), and has a wrinkled appearance and a soft consistency.
Usually painless, it corresponds to a sequela of thrombosis (clot) in a hemorrhoid external which has gradually hardened (fibrotic).
