Malfunction of the veins characterized by insufficient return of blood to the heart, due to damage to the vein wall.

  • Venous support using special stockings
  • Skin care with suitable creams
  • Venotonics (medicine containing vitamins of the PP group among others)
  • Spa treatments
  • Kinesitherapy
  • Avoid being overweight (do not gain too much weight)
  • Sleeping with your feet elevated
  • Manual lymphatic drainage or pressure therapy (20 sessions per year are reimbursed by social security, only for patients at stages C4 C5 C6 – see venous insufficiency, general information)
  • · Monitoring of blood circulation with, if necessary, use of anticoagulants (antivitamin K)
  • Monitoring the occurrence of thrombosis (ultrasound-Doppler)
  • Walking, moderate but regular sporting activity
