Acardiac is an adjective which means being deprived of a heart. The term anide from the Greek an: privative and eidos : shape (in English anideus), represents a monster omphalositis characterized by a minimal organization and which does not have a circulatory system.
Generalities
The term omphalositis represents a monster deprived of a large number of organs, and kept alive only through the umbilical artery, in the umbilical cord with the mother.
The omphalositis monster dies at the moment of clamping (a clamp used to interrupt circulation inside a conduit), that is to say, clamping (or tight closure) before cutting the umbilical cord.

The term acardiac applies to newborns, that is, to individuals born malformed and deprived of a heart.

It is self-evident that acardiac individuals, without external assistance, cannot survive after childbirth, given the absence of circulatory and respiratory autonomy from that moment (cessation of maternal circulation through the umbilical cord).
