Teeth are a very important aesthetic element of the face, and their appearance is indicative of their state of health.
It is essential to brush them 3 times a day, but certain habits can still weaken them, or even destroy them.
Here are 5 things NOT to do to have healthy teeth:
1 – GOING TO BED WITHOUT BRUSHING YOUR TEETH
At night, the risk of formation of caries is more important because we produce less saliva whose function is to neutralize oral acidity.
Not brushing your teeth before going to bed therefore considerably increases the risk of developing cavities since not only are the teeth exposed for long hours to the acidic agents contained in food, but their natural defenses are diminished by the reduction in saliva production.
2 – BRUSH YOUR TEETH IMMEDIATELY AFTER MEALS
